Does my floor need Sanding?

At a glance, many wooden flooring owners would immediately contact a wood floor sanding contractor, who would advise, yes, the floor requires sanding.

Our advice is that sanding is the option if you want a pristine, brand-new-looking floor. If you want a clean, natural-looking floor, we can deep clean and re-seal or re-oil it without sanding.

Tips to protect wooden flooring from wear

  • A great start is using good barrier mats at points of entry to absorb moisture and grit.

  • Regularly sweep or vacuum to remove loose dusts.

  • Remove light soiling by damp mopping using a flat mop and a suitable wood floor cleaner.

We have perfected a non-sanding restoration method where the results speak for themselves.

This job study was conducted at a farmhouse, where the flooring had been exposed to the wear and tear of a hardworking environment.

We completed the deep cleaning and oiling, and the floor was ready the same day.

With our special technique, we deep clean and re-oil wooden flooring without the upheaval of sanding.
